Arrgh, that dreaded cellulite! Just when you have found that fantastic looking skirt or shorts, you realize that you can’t wear them due to that unsightly appearance on your legs. What can you do? Thankfully, there are a number of methods that can help reduce the appearance of cellulite and help you get back into your favorite clothes in a matter of months.

The problem is of course, that with so many cellulite reduction treatments available at your local beauty clinic, which one should you choose? Here is a brief guide to help you make a decision.

Endermologie

The client wears a special body stocking to protect the skin from friction burns and a roller massaging device is run over various parts of the body. The device pulls, sucks and pushes skin through the rollers in order to reduce the lumpy appearance of the skin. This is one of the most inexpensive treatments available with a full block of sessions costing about $1000. After that you’ll need to continue maintenance sessions at a lesser frequency and this will set you back around $1,600 for 12 months.

Ionithermie

This method is new to America. A beauty therapist applies a mask of clay to whatever body part is affected by cellulite. Sometimes that clay is laced with coffee grounds and cellulite busting nutrients to increase the effectiveness of the method. An electrical current is then run through the clay in order to stimulate the muscles to contract. After several treatments you’ll need follow up sessions after 12 months.

TriActive

TriActive is a laser device that helps to melt fat away from under the skin and helps to smooth the outer surface of the skin. Research has shown that 80 percent of women are satisfied with their results after 8 to 10 sessions. You should expect to pay about $1,400 for the first 16 sessions and then $125 for each maintenance session. All in all, this is about $2,400 in the first 12 months.
